Introduction to South Brisbane, Assignment Two

Introducing 'Giovenco Designs'. I felt two start this project off it would be nice to construct a client/ developer for this project, which is myself acting as GiovencoDESIGNS.

The following blog will cover the development of the South Brisbane project. In particular the brief is as follows;

CLIENT:

The Client includes 'SouthBank Corporation', 'Brisbane City Council', 'Queensland Rails' and in my opinion 'The General Public' (After all the public are the people who will be using this establishment)

BREAKING DOWN THE HIERARCHY OF CLIENTS:

Because this projects includes a vast range of clients or stakeholders i felt it is important to breakdown who holds the importance when it comes to the design stage of my development. I have come to the conclusion of hierarchy through a quick analysis of a site visit and my general thoughts towards where the design of the site could be heading.

READING THE HIERARCHY DIAGRAM:

The following diagram places the importance of stakeholders, clients and users through the use of a colour wheel. The overlapping colours show a relationship between two influences on the project. The littler the colour and the closer to the middle of the circle the grater the importance on the project.

As the diagram details the user's of the site is predominately my main focus. With that said certain influences from Queensland Rails, Southbank Corporation and Brisbane City Council are to be equally considered in the design scheme. The outer ring shows topics which need to also be considered into the design development, them being; Natural Surrounding, Surrounding Attractions and the General Public.
